Autumn Guttering Checklist for South Wales Homes

Blocked gutters are behind roughly half our winter callouts. The good news: keeping them clear is one of the cheapest things you can do for your home.

Twice a year — ideally October and March — clear leaves and moss from the guttering, check the downpipes flow freely, and look for any joints that drip. If a gutter is pulling away from the fascia, get it re-secured before winter or you'll be dealing with damp inside the wall.
